Food & Beverage Supervisor (à la carte and C&E)

We are a contemporary style 4.5 star comfort hotel conveniently located in the very heart of Melbourne on fashionable Collins Street close to the Town Hall, Federation Square and retail and theatre districts. Featuring 380 guest rooms and suites, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and gym with 8 flexible conference & function venues feature state-of-the-art, conference technology. The ballroom accommodates events of up to 400 delegates in a theatre-style setup or 230 guests for banquets.

• Supervising and leading a team of food & beverage attendants - ensuring the efficient   running of F&B operations to both meet and exceed customer needs and expectations 

• Attending to operational needs and problems promptly, including customer enquiries, requests and complaints

• Training and developing the team to ensure team members are competent in all areas of the conference and events operation

• Liaise with kitchen to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal.

• Assisting with team members  rosters to meet weekly/monthly labour cost targets  

• Passion for food & beverage service and guest engagement - always seeking to find the YES if every situation

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy
