As part of the global Accor network, this is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role at a property known for its strong culture, high-performing team, and commitment to service excellence. With access to Accor’s world-class systems, training, and development pathways, you’ll be well-positioned to drive meaningful financial outcomes and grow your career with one of the world’s leading hospitality brands.

Job Description

In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to drive financial performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making across the business. You will oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and statutory requirements, while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial outputs for Accor and ownership stakeholders.

This is a hands-on position suited to a detail-oriented finance leader with strong hotel experience, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to support and influence cross-functional teams. You will also play a critical role in developing systems, enhancing controls, and supporting department heads with the financial tools and guidance they need to improve profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the hotel leadership team to support financial strategy and operational performance
  • Deliver accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting for Accor and owners
  • Oversee payroll operations for the property, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Provide financial guidance on Management Agreements, Owners Corporation matters, and HMA compliance
  • Drive improvements to financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
  • Support department heads with financial data, reporting, and profitability analysis
  • Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies, WH&S, and relevant legislative requirements

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting standards, compliance obligations, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems; familiarity with Zambion, PurchasePlus, and Sun is advantageous
  • Solid working knowledge of taxation, superannuation, long service leave entitlements, and the National Employment Standards
  • Willingness to undergo a State Police Check as part of the recruitment process
