Job Description

Embrace a fresh career opportunity as the Executive Chef at Movenpick Wellington, where your dedication to crafting creative, innovative and exceptional Culinary experiences. You will be the leader of a team, in a 5-star Restaurant, Forage Kitchen and Bar, overseeing a vibrant team of culinary professionals.

  • Have a confident, vibrant and creative cooking style with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation
  • Deliver consistent, high quality food whilst maintaining food costs
  • Possess a strong understanding of rostering and costings
  • Have a flexible approach in adapting to guest requests
  • Lead and develop a motivated cohesive brigade, in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Be diligent and adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements & will have an understanding of Food Safety management

Qualifications

  • 5 years Senior leadership experience in a Hospitality & Culinary Environment
  • High level of communication & leadership
  • The possession of a Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – Essential
  • A commitment to deliver on and exceed customer expectations
