Job Description

We are hiring an eCommerce Director for the MEAPA region

As the eCommerce Director of MEA and APAC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the web direct channel and optimizing the eCommerce experience with a deep cultural fluency – someone who understands the digital heartbeat of the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. Based in Dubai, you will be responsible for spearheading initiatives to increase direct bookings via our brand websites, working in close partnership with property teams as well as marketing, product, and revenue divisions.  This role is for a strategic leader who lives and breathes digital growth, who knows how to craft high-performing campaigns without losing sight of the brand magic, and who can champion web direct performance across a fast-growing portfolio of Lifestyle Collective hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Digital Performance Driver for MEAPAC

  • You’ll own and accelerate our web-direct performance across brand.com and All.com, ensuring we achieve our eCommerce targets across the region with a focus on:
    • Paid media and acquisition campaigns
    • CRM & email that delivers personalised and on-brand communications
    • SEO strategies that balance technical excellence with editorial craft
  • Trading performance for every hotel in the region
  • You will oversee data-driven strategies with paid media partners and manage a two-person team supporting MEA and APAC regions.
  • You will have a strong creative-eye which can support hotels and brand teams in delivering the best-in-class visual assets for all paid media channels – providing steer and creative direction based on each brand’s identity.
  • Lead acquisition marketing and work with Revenue Management and brand teams to develop exclusive offers which drive web direct for our hotels. Monitor pricing structures, ensuring competitiveness with third-party channels.
  • Reporting and analytics will be at the forefront of our commercial planning. This role will leverage insights from our product team, revenue leads and our analytics division to drive performance and build commercial calendars in collaboration with marketing and brand teams.
  • Strengthen the Digital Foundations

  • You'll collaborate closely with digital product teams to influence feature development, optimise the booking journey, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure our digital ecosystem continues to evolve in lockstep with commercial priorities. This will involve:
    • Hand-in-hand collaboration with the website and booking engine product teams to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and product development
    • Build business cases which help in prioritizing development work that best support hotels in the MEA and APAC regions
    • Triage website and booking engine related issues, coordinate troubleshooting efforts with your team and ensure timely resolutions to minimize business impact
  • Develop on site A/B tests to improve customer journeys and experience on site and increase conversion rate, with a goal to integrate into the Product roadmap
  • Alongside the hotel and brand teams, you will ensure the best-in-class content is featured on our websites, making sure content is refreshed, seasonally appropriate and optimised to deliver conversion.
  • Be the Go-to-Market Champion for New Hotels

  • New openings are one of the most exciting parts of this role and you will lead the digital charge as part of this role. You’ll coordinate all digital and eCommerce elements of the opening roadmap: from pre-launch visibility and content readiness to campaigns, trading, and a best-in-class, brand-aligned digital go-to-market plans .
  • Work closely with Operations teams to facilitate an omnichannel opening approach to build towards a successful opening that achieves our web direct targets.
  • Triage website and booking engine related issues, coordinate troubleshooting efforts with your team and ensure timely resolutions to minimize business impact.
  • Best Practice Sharing:

  • In addition to driving commercial impact and supporting new hotel launches, you will actively foster cross-regional collaboration, sharing digital best practices and innovations with peers to elevate overall performance.
  • Your role will be pivotal in championing digital transformation projects, streamlining processes, and ensuring that each initiative is closely aligned with both local market needs and global brand standards.
  • By continuously evaluating emerging technologies and market trends, you will help future-proof our digital strategy while empowering teams to deliver exceptional results through data-driven insights and agile execution.

 


Qualifications

  • Ideally a degree in a business/hospitality related subject.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the same field within the hospitality industry is required.
  • Proven experience in eCommerce management, with deep, proven market knowledge of the Middle East (non-negotiable) and strong understanding of APAC digital landscapes.
  • Strong expertise in full-funnel digital marketing, including performance marketing, paid media strategy, SEO, CRM and ROI management. Proven success in executing high-impact marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • A strong brand mindset—you know how to balance commercial urgency with brand integrity.
  • Experience in collaborating with revenue management teams to align digital marketing and eCommerce efforts with dynamic pricing, inventory management, and promotional strategies.
  • Solid track record of driving direct bookings, reducing dependency on OTAs, and increasing revenue via online sales channels.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. Proficient in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM, and performance marketing platforms to monitor and improve campaign performance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams at all levels. Experience leading teams—coaching, inspiring, and growing talent.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple brands and markets.
  • Hands-on experience managing digital rollouts for new hotel openings is a huge advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and digital transformation, including implementing new features and troubleshooting digital platforms.
