Job Description

The Sebel Brisbane is currently seeking a Duty Manager to join the dynamic Hotel.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your primary focus is ensuring a high level of guest service at all times.
 
As Duty Manager, your responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and supervising the day-to-day Front Office operations to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
  • Handling guest concerns and reacting quickly to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Ensuring team members are informed daily about priorities to personalise service
  • Assisting in all areas of the hotel during peak times to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Being responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
  • Liaising daily with the Reservations team to ensure accuracy in room allocation and maximising of yield

Qualifications

Your ability to engage our guests with your natural bright and bubbly customer service style is what sets you apart from the rest. You have an outcome driven approach to performance and results.

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience within a similar role, within the hotel industry
  • Prior experience with Fidelio or Opera, Micros, Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Valid First Aid Certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Availability to work across varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays
  • Strong time management, communication and organisational skills

The successful candidate will have unlimited work rights in Australia and be available to work 38 hours per week.
