Job Description

Supporting the VP People & Culture, as the Director, People and Culture – North and Central America (NCA) for Raffles and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, you will be entrusted to drive the operational support of the People and Culture business partners in each Hotel in the Region and the Corporate Office in New York. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate an environment where talent thrives, and our unique organizational culture flourishes across our portfolio.

HR Operations Oversight

Partner with VP People & Culture and Regional Directors, People & Culture to provide day to day oversight of HR operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Work with the team to streamline, optimize talent and culture processes and systems to support the needs of the business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance talent and culture’s effectiveness and support business objectives.

Talent Acquisition and Development

Partner with the VP Talent Acquisition & Talent Management, and Director Learning and Development to ensure Raffles and Fairmont attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent at all levels of the organization.

With the team, execute innovative recruitment strategies to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects our brand's ethos.

With the team, execute the implementation of robust training and development programs, talent reviews and succession planning to nurture talent and promote continuous growth.

Culture Cultivation

Champion and reinforce Raffles and Fairmont’s brand's culture, values, and core beliefs across all touchpoints within the organization.

Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment where employees feel empowered, engaged, and valued.

Collaborate with senior leadership to drive cultural initiatives that enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and overall well-being.

Employee Engagement and Recognition

Develop and implement strategies to measure and enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Lead efforts to recognize and reward exceptional performance, fostering a culture of appreciation and acknowledgment.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on matters pertaining to employee relations and organizational culture.

Leadership

Executing the Raffles and Fairmont People & Culture strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and values.

Provide leadership to the People and Culture business partners, guiding them in their roles to achieve excellence in all aspects of their role.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

8+ years of experience in human resources management, with a focus on employee relations, employee engagement talent acquisition, development, and culture.

Proven track record of leadership in a similar capacity within the luxury hospitality industry or a related field.

Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable initiatives.


Additional Information

Location: Office-based in New York City

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 USD Gross
