Job Description

This position is responsible for upholding the global brand standards of SO/, protecting our creative identity and amenity and collateral standards across the resort. The role should also build & execute creative marketing ideas that bring our stylish, fashion positioning to life through partnerships, collaborations, pop-ups, film opportunities and ongoing press and influencer activity.

The role will support the Director of Sales and marketing across all commercial marketing channels from social media, paid digital media, sales materials and trade shows

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with the Director of Sales & Marketing, build annual marketing strategies that build hotel and brand awareness and directly target different guest audiences to drive direct, wholesale and consortia bookings. Your marketing strategies will include:
    • PR strategies built with regional press agencies to tell stories about the brand and resort + gain awards in key media. You should look to own key influential media relationships in-house.
    • Influencer strategies ensuring an ‘on-brand’ stream of influencer stays that broaden reach and encourage direct bookings.
    • Digital marketing campaigns – support to create campaign assets for paid and organic digital marketing channels that support key direct booking CTAs + provide regular performance reports, ROI analysis and actions to improve performance.
    • Oversee organic social media content and platforms including commissioning photo and video shoots to promote the resort, regular posting and community management.
    • Lead on CRM activities (both editorial and transactional) to drive customer acquisition and retention.
    • Create events, activations, pop-ups, takeovers that encourage local and international visitors and engagement for the hotel and the restaurants and bars. This would also include finding and negotiating partners and sponsors necessary to execute. These activations should be anchored in the brand philosophy of being rooted in the worlds of luxury fashion.
  • Ensure all brand standards are adhered to across the resort and all physical and digital collateral. This will include.
    • Ensuring all relevant SOP’s are adhered to, to ensure consistent brand standards are maintained at all times.
    • Monitor and update information and content on the hotel’s brand.com website, ALL.com and on other digital platforms such as Google listings or OTAs.
    • Work with the necessary suppliers and vendors to create brand assets required (e.g. design, printing etc…)
    • Create necessary assets required for any traditional advertising opportunities e.g. in the press or in leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, rack brochures, sales materials.
    • Oversee all on-property photoshoots (corporate, guest or creative) to ensure they do not interfere with guest experiences and reflect the global brand art direction. As part of your role you will maintain your own photo library with legal release forms to ensure we have the rights to use all photo and video assets.
  • Ensure that you are monitoring competitor marketing activity at all times, reporting to the team when ever we need to react (or not!) to keep ahead of our comp set.
  • Submit weekly marketing updates to circulate with senior leadership and owners.
  • Supervise Marketing coordinator in marketing relevant duties.
  • Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Ennismore standards of performance, by e-mail, phone or in person

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in Marketing,    Communications, Creative or a related field is essential. Possession of a Masters Degree will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years hotel experience with at least 1 year in similar role in luxury hotel
  • Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
  • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
  • Strong knowledge in Digital Marketing/ E-Commerce. Confident knowledge of digital marketing strategies and plaforms
  • Proactive, proven excellent communication skills.
  • Dynamic, creative and a good feeling for trend developments
  • Guest focused with good attitude to work
  • Excellent English communication both in written and spoken (compulsory)
  • Good social media, computer and design skills
  • Must be a highly capable user of Microsoft office programmer including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Previous working experience in a truly global work environment is essential.
