Fairmont Golden Prague Hotel

Welcome to an exciting landmark hotel in the very center of the fairytale city of Prague in Czech Republic. Located just minutes from top tourist sights and designer shops as well as bustling cafes and restaurants, overlooking the Prague castle and the spires of the Golden City.

The hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation to open its doors during autumn 2024 as the most exclusive five star property in town. The hotel will feature 297 luxurious rooms and suites, an extensive Fairmont Spa with indoor and outdoor pool, 6 restaurants and bars as well as a Grand Ballroom for 400 guests and a number of serviced residences attached to the hotel.

The hotel is a landmark property with a rich history, an architectural icon filled with authentic artpieces, a flagship property for Fairmont and the first opening in Central Europe for the brand. 

Job Description

For our amazing hotel we are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Culinary Director. The main goal is to establish the hotel as THE Prague gastronomic icon with the ambition to create multiple food and drink spaces across the hotel, appealing to visitors and the local community, groups of families and friends.


  • an all day dining restaurant,
  • a classic lobby lounge and bar,
  • a modern take on a traditional relaxed beer restaurant with terrace,
  • a gastronomic roof top restaurant and bar,
  • an Asian bar and dining place,
  • a spa café,
  • a Fairmont Gold Lounge and
  • a banquet operation.

The food and drink experience celebrates the cultural heritage of Prague and Czech cuisine along with the modern creativity and innovation within the city.

We expect the starting date to be during Q3 2024 with a certain flexibility, to be discussed with the right candidate.


  • highly motivated, creative mind, thinking out of the box
  • international experience in similar position
  • experience with eastern and western cuisine
  • experience with openings
  • managing large teams and multiple restaurants and bars
  • work permit within EU countries

Additional Information

This position is an amazing opportunity to use your experience but also to learn something new and be part of the pre-opening team in this luxury project. This position is not a part of EXCOM, reports directly to Director of Operations. Please be aware that we don´t provide an expat package for this position.
