Job Description

As the Corporate Sales Executive – at Sofitel Riyadh, you will be responsible for driving corporate sales and developing strong relationships with key clients in the corporate sector, including embassies, multinational companies, and local businesses. You will play a crucial role in positioning the hotel as a leading choice for business travelers, corporate events, and diplomatic delegations in Riyadh, contributing to the hotel's pre-opening success and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop Corporate Business: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the corporate sector, including embassies, multinational companies, and local businesses, to increase room sales, meetings, and event bookings.

· Build Key Relationships: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers in corporate organizations and embassies to generate repeat business and secure long-term contracts.

· Sales Strategy Execution: Support the Director of Sales in implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the corporate and embassy segments, aligned with Sofitel’s brand and business objectives.

· Account Management: Manage a portfolio of key corporate and embassy accounts, ensuring client satisfaction through personalized service, regular communication, and timely follow-ups.

· Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets by generating business through proactive sales calls, site inspections, networking, and attending industry-related events.

· Market Research & Analysis: Conduct regular market research to stay informed about business trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities within the corporate and diplomatic sectors in Riyadh.

· Pre-opening Activities: Contribute to pre-opening tasks such as building client databases, participating in promotional activities, and assisting with the hotel’s soft launch and initial sales efforts.

· Contract Negotiation: Negotiate room rates, corporate packages, and event pricing with corporate clients and embassies, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining profitability.

· Event Coordination: Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of meetings, conferences, and diplomatic events hosted at the hotel, ensuring high standards and client satisfaction.

· Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into business performance and future opportunities within the corporate and embassy segments.

· Brand Representation: Represent Sofitel Riyadh at relevant industry events, trade shows, and embassy functions to enhance the hotel’s visibility and reputation among corporate and diplomatic clientele.


Qualifications

· Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably within the hospitality industry. Previous experience working with embassies or diplomatic missions is a plus.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

· Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Riyadh corporate market and familiarity with embassy protocols and business practices.

· Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Arabic.

· Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to handle multiple accounts and projects with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

· Personal Traits: A self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial in a pre-opening environment.
