Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced Conference Events Sales Executive to join our team at Novotel Barossa Valley Resort. This role is a part time, shared position.  Under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for the below.

  • Managing all event arrangements from pre-planning and detailing to on-site support and post-event follow-up
  • Being the primary contact for organisers throughout their stay
  • Coordinating and hosting site inspections and famil experiences
  • Liaising with banquet, kitchen, front office, and F&B teams to ensure flawless event delivery
  • Promoting positive guest relations and resolving enquiries with professionalism and warmth
  • Reviewing guest lists, maintaining event notes, and ensuring operational teams have accurate details
  • Upholding high standards of service, grooming and personal presentation
  • Supporting revenue growth through up-selling opportunities and relationship building

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience in hotel events, weddings, or conference operations
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple events with ease
  • A creative, solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, grooming and professional presentation
  • Confidence in liaising with vendors, guests, suppliers and internal teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A genuinely warm and energetic personality that fits our Heartist culture
