We are seeking an exceptional Concierge Team Leader to join our prestigious hotel in the heart of Brisbane City, Australia. As the leader of our concierge team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive world-class service and unforgettable experiences during their stay.
- Lead and motivate the concierge team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily operations of the concierge desk, including scheduling and task delegation
- Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression of our hotel
- Manage luggage handling and valet parking services
- Offer detailed information about hotel facilities and local attractions
- Provide personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and tourism activities
- Promote and explain our loyalty program to guests
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in the hotel entrance area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the concierge team
- Train and mentor new team members
- Manage a flexible 7-day roster, including morning and evening shifts including public holidays.
- Proven experience as a Concierge Team Leader or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
- Proficiency in hotel management software and computer systems
- In-depth knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and services in Brisbane City
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy luggage when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
