Company Description

European leader in the serviced apartments’ segment, Adagio Aparthotel has established itself as the market leader in the upper midscale Aparthotel landscape in Malta. The new modern hotel, with 70 Studios, One-Bedroom Apartments and Penthouses, a restaurant, a gym and a rooftop pool and bar, is centrally located in Msida on the island of Malta.

We are seeking to recruit a full time Front Office Supervisor. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Hotel’s General Manager.


Job Description

The Front Office Receptionist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and professional daily operations of the Front Office, contributing directly to a seamless and memorable guest experience.  Key responsibilities include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and responding efficiently to guest requests and inquiries. As the first point of contact for our guests, this role is essential in setting the tone for their stay.   

Aligned with the core values and operational standards of our brand, the Front Office Receptionist is expected to embody a warm, welcoming, and service-oriented attitude while working on a rotational shift basis. With a strong emphasis on guest service and satisfaction, this position requires someone who is approachable, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional level of hospitality.


Qualifications

  • Being fluent in English. Maltese and any other main European language are considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Having a friendly and positive attitude
  • Maintaining standards and procedures for all aspects of the Front Office operation
  • Ensuring that all necessary health & safety and all other standards are maintained at all times
  • Previous experience as a Front Office Receptionist is a must
  • Being motivated and an excellent communicator both written and spoken
  • Being familiar with MS office, PMS (ideally Opera Cloud) and the travel and hospitality industry
  • Demonstrate professionalism and work with integrity
