Company Description

European leader in the serviced apartments’ segment, Adagio Aparthotel has established itself as the market leader in the upper midscale Aparthotel landscape in Malta. The new modern hotel, with 70 Studios, One-Bedroom Apartments and Penthouses, a restaurant, a gym and a rooftop pool and bar, is centrally located in Msida on the island of Malta.

We are seeking to recruit a full time Front Office Supervisor. The selected candidate will be reporting directly to the Hotel’s General Manager.


Job Description

The Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for the professional and smooth running of the day-to-day Front Office operation to make the guest experience seamless. Training and mentoring of Front Office staff members and handling of guest challenges and issues are further key responsibilities in this role.  

Working according to the core values and operational standards of our brand, the role of the Front Office Supervisor is critical to the success of the hotel. This position requires strong, clear and consistent leadership with a focus on guest service and experience, sales and maximization of revenue. The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for the daily leadership of the Front Office operations.


Qualifications

  • Being fluent in English. Maltese and any other main European language are considered an asset
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or tourism
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Identifying additional revenue opportunities and making sure set targets are met by the team
  • Coaching, developing and training the Front Office Team
  • Maintaining standards and procedures for all aspects of the Front Office operation
  • Ensuring that all necessary health & safety and all other standards are maintained at all times and that records are maintained up to date and filed properly
  • Previous experience as Front Office Supervisor or Assistant Front Office Manager is a must
  • Being motivated and an excellent communicator both written and spoken
  • Being familiar with MS office, PMS (ideally Opera Cloud) and the travel and hospitality industry
  • Demonstrate integrity and lead by example
