Job Description

Role based at Novotel Wolverhampton or Novotel Coventry

- With some travel in between

About Us

Fairview Hotels owns and operates a portfolio of branded hotels across the UK. As we continue to grow and develop throughout 2026, our people remain at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to investing in our teams and creating opportunities for career progression within our business.

Our West Midlands Cluster comprises Novotel Coventry and Novotel Wolverhampton, both offering extensive meeting and event facilities for corporate and social occasions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Cluster Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within a busy Meetings & Events Sales Office who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain valuable experience towards a proactive sales role.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional service while maximising sales opportunities. As this is a dual-site position, your time will be split between both hotels, so flexibility and the ability to travel between the two locations are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage meetings and events enquiries from all sales channels, taking each enquiry from initial contact through to confirmation.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Arrange and conduct hotel show rounds, ensuring all client requirements are understood and presented effectively.
  • Ensure all confirmed bookings are issued with contracts, pro-forma invoices and that payments are secured in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare detailed function sheets and present event information during hotel function sheet meetings.
  • Maintain and update hotel sales profiles, ensuring familiarity with Novotel brand standards and Meeting Planner, our meetings loyalty programme.
  • Use the C&E booking system to manage enquiries and bookings (full training will be provided).
  • Produce professional documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Work collaboratively across both hotels to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Travel between both properties as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the business.

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a hotel Meetings & Events Sales Office.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for sales and delivering memorable events.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport would be advantageous due to travel between properties.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary
  • Access to worldwide Accor accommodation discounts for you, your friends and family.
  • NEST Pension Scheme.
  • Complimentary eye tests.
  • Two complimentary hotel stays per year (subject to availability).
  • Meals provided whilst on duty.
  • Uniform provided.
  • 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Employee discount scheme.
  • Company pension.
  • Referral programme.
