Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Providing warm, engaging service to all guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure
  • Supervision and support of the operations of Club Millesime and Room Service, ensuring service standards are followed with friendly and engaging attitude
  • Ensure that all hotel and department policies and procedures are understood by ambassadors
  • Greet and respond to requests for all VIP guests, providing exceptional service at every step of the journey
  • Maintain product knowledge of all menus and wine lists in order to advise and make recommendations to guests
  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
  • Deliver personalised service with passion and professionalism
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Conduct pre-arrival communications providing local knowledge and advice
  • Anticipate guests needs and promote various hotel services.
  • Champion return guest recognition program, driving personalised service in line with our Heartist principals

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with confidence in all aspects of VIP club and Room Service operations  
  • Effective communication. time management and problem solving capabilities
  • Prior experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera or a related PMS system. POS experience is an asset.
  • Strong service skills, with confidence in all aspects of service
  • Availability across a variety of shifts, including breakfast and night shifts, across week day, weekends and public holidays
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards all areas of work
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Full Australian working rights
  • A true love and passion for creating genuine memorable guest experiences
