- Maintain strict security procedures to ensure efficient cash handling and control of confidential guest data to ensure guest and ambassador safety.
- Drive all Club Millesime ambassadors meet and exceed daily, monthly and yearly targets and provide support for the team through training and coaching.
- Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure service times are adhered to.
- Ensure all Food and Beverage Front and Back of house areas are maintained in relation to: cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene; maintenance and pest control; operating equipment and inventory and fire precautions and safety.
- Assist and represent the Club Manager when he/she is unavailable by being the face of Club Millesime and resolving guest complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
- Provide for guests an experience and environment they feel meets their expectations by quickly and efficiently auctioning requests.
- Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
- Set up systems to protect and maintain control of outlet service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
- Monitor all mise-en-place and ensure completed prior to guest’s arriving.
- Ensure ambassadors are competent in all service procedures and they are able to maximize sales to guests, including the use of up-selling techniques.
- Ensure outlet service areas and bar is fully stocked at all times. Report any discrepancies in stock control.
- Maintain product knowledge of all menu and wine lists in order to advise and make recommendations to guests.
- Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- 1 - 2 year's experience in Food and Beverage / Club Lounge Team Leader
- Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Always display a professional appearance, representing our Sofitel brand.
- Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.
- Hold a current RSA certificate.
