The Associate Director of Sales works closely with Director of sales and is primarily responsible for leading & driving top line revenue strategy for traditional sales related segments to include group, volume transient & catering. The individual is additionally responsible for staying ahead of market trends, market share movement and ongoing competitive hotel analysis, while directing the property sales teams (rooms & catering) to insure budgeted revenues are met or exceeded. Responsible for developing and implementing a marketing communications plan designed to achieve the desired positioning for the hotel, as well as managing the sales and marketing budget that supports revenue attainment.

Resumen de responsabilidades:
Informar al Director de Front Desk, las responsabilidades y funciones esenciales del trabajo que incluyen, entre otras, las siguientes:
- Agendar cualquier tipo de servicio que el huésped llegara a necesitar: reservaciones en restaurantes, confirmaciones de servicios, promociones, confirmación de vuelos o transportaciones hotel-aeropuerto o viceversa, entre otras.
- Reportar peticiones o quejas de huéspedes y organizar amenidades y cualquier petición fuera de lo convencional de los huéspedes.
Funciones Esenciales:
- Entrenar al equipo en cómo tratar y hablar correctamente a cada uno de los huéspedes asegurándose que en cada interacción haya lujo de por medio.
- Tener siempre en mente a VIP’s y llegadas y salidas diarias, anticipándose a cualquier necesidad y anteponiéndose con Guest Service cualquier arreglo confirmado.
- Escuchar y comunicarse de manera educada y atenta con los huéspedes, ya sea en persona o por teléfono.
- Organizar horario semanal para el equipo de Concierge.
- Proveer apoyo y motivación a los compañeros que lo necesiten, al igual que ser un ejemplo a seguir.
- Ayudar a otros sin importar que no sea su departamento o estación.
- Proveer información profesional y comprensible acerca del hotel, y los alrededores.
- Mantener una relación buena con los contactos dentro y fuera del hotel
- Ser el representante del hotel, actuar como Relaciones Públicas en todos los sectores que se presten. (Arte, Food and Beverage, Cultural, etc.)
- Educado con excelentes modales y etiqueta telefónica y una habilidad de relacionarse excepcional.
- Responder acertadamente cualquier pregunta o duda acerca del hotel y otros servicios fuera del hotel.
- Mantener una constante y clara comunicación con departamentos clave como Front Desk, Bell Boys y Guest Services, entre otros.
- Atender a todos los meetings gerenciales de Front Office y proveer status semanales.
- Realizar briefings diarios con su equipo para informar cambios o novedades dentro de la propiedad.
- Supervisar que todo el equipo de Concierge cumpla con las tareas de sus checklists al 100%.
