- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, soups, and noodles, according to traditional recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food preparation meets established quality standards, including taste, texture, and presentation, while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to develop and update menu offerings, incorporating innovative twists while staying true to traditional Thai flavors.
- Maintain inventory of Thai ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and availability of necessary items for daily operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on Thai cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation standards, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely preparation of Thai dishes, coordinating with other kitchen staff as needed.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in Thai cuisine, incorporating new ingredients, techniques, and flavors into menu offerings.
- Assist with special events and promotions featuring Thai cuisine, including menu planning, preparation, and execution.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, equipment maintenance, and sanitation practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction with Thai dishes.
- Proven experience as a Thai Cuisine Specialist or Thai Cuisine Chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors, with a passion for authentic Thai cuisine.
- Strong culinary skills and proficiency in preparing a wide range of Thai dishes, including curries, stir-fries, and soups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing workload as needed.
