- Organize and implement administrative systems & procedures, and perform necessary support duties.
- Plan and coordinate events for the hotel.
- Ensure standards are met.
- Serve as a principal source of information for the team.
- Prepare and maintain your department’s records.
- Assist Catering/Events Sales team by monitoring all lead sources and distributing leads to appropriate Catering/Events Sales/Service Manager based on deployment.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate client data base in Opera Cloud and adherence to all company standards.
- Provide administrative support to the Catering/Events Sales team including but not limited to - merging letters of agreement, expense reports, distribution of all event orders and resumes among other administrative needs.
- Experience in event planning or sales.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests.
- Well organised with multi-tasking skills.
- Competency using a variety of computer softwares
