Job Description

As a Bellman at DELANO Dubai, you are a key ambassador of the guest arrival and departure experience. You will ensure every transition is seamless, welcoming, and effortless, reflecting the refined yet relaxed style of the DELANO brand from the very first moment of contact.

  • Guest Arrival & Departure Experience: Deliver a warm, polished, and efficient welcome and farewell, ensuring a smooth first and last impression of the hotel
  • Luggage Handling: Safely and efficiently manage guest luggage with care, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Escort Service: Accompany guests to and from rooms, providing a personalised introduction to the property and room features
  • Guest Assistance: Support guests with directions, enquiries, and general hotel information in a professional and friendly manner
  • Valet Coordination: Liaise with valet and transportation services to ensure seamless arrivals, departures, and transfers
  • Service Readiness: Maintain lobby and entrance areas in immaculate condition, aligned with DELANO presentation standards
  • Operational Support: Assist front office and concierge teams during peak periods to ensure smooth guest flow
  • Guest Engagement: Create a welcoming atmosphere through attentive, intuitive, and respectful interaction with all guests
  • Problem Resolution: Respond promptly to guest requests or minor issues, escalating where appropriate to ensure resolution
  • Brand Representation: Consistently embody DELANO’s luxury lifestyle service culture through appearance, behaviour, and communication

Qualifications

  • Luxury Experience: Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment in a bellman, porter, or guest services role
  • Guest Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, professional, and guest-focused approach
  • Physical Capability: Ability to handle luggage and remain active throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to Detail: High standards of presentation and care in all guest-facing interactions
  • Team Collaboration: Works effectively with front office, concierge, and valet teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Communication Skills: Clear, courteous, and confident communication with guests of diverse backgrounds
  • Educational Background: A relevant qualification such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience) is preferred, reflecting a commitment to professional standards
