Job Description

  • Serve food and beverage in an efficient and pleasant manner
  • Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow Team Members alike
  • Attendants on the correct coffee making processes to ensure excellent product delivery
  • Maintain and clean all equipment and stock, which is used to facilitate the service of food and beverage items to all guests
  • Allocated sections by the Supervisor/Manager and given responsibility for smooth and efficient food and beverage service within those sections
  • Familiar with the basic ingredients, method of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu
  • Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
  • Familiar with the cost of all food and beverage items sold in the outlet
  • Process all charges associated with the service of food and beverage on the cashiering system and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor/Manager
  • Perform all opening and closing duties in the outlet as requested
  • Promptly report any maintenance work required in the proximity of the outlet to the Supervisor/Manager
  • Other duties as may be prescribed from time to time due to operational needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years F&B experience
  • Strong Barista skills, (espresso, pour over etc.) particularly when working at high volume
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage safety standards and relevant legislation
  • Demonstrated competency operating POS and applying numeracy skills to perform  smooth transactions
  • Friendly and positive attitude
