Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Director of Sales - Weddings to join our dynamic sales team in Jaipur, India. In this leadership role, you will drive sales strategy, build and mentor a high-performing team, and cultivate strong client relationships within the wedding and events industry. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on sales expertise, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding revenue targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the wedding and events sector
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and organizational sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, vendors, and stakeholders across the wedding industry
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales programs
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management
  • Customize service offerings and pricing strategies to meet client needs while maintaining profitability
  • Conduct negotiations with clients and partners to secure contracts and close high-value deals
  • Implement and optimize CRM systems and sales tools to enhance team productivity and track performance metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and event planning teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client presentations to strengthen market presence
  • Monitor team performance through regular reviews and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • 3+ years of experience in the wedding, events, or hospitality industry (preferred)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the wedding industry, including vendor management, event logistics, and customer preferences
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage complex, high-value transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Strategic thinking ability with the capacity to develop and implement effective sales programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
