Job Description
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times. • Maintain clear and effective communication with the management, ensuring that operational updates, guest feedback and any concerns are promptly communicated. • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items. • Prepare and check tables before service. • Support the head waiter with mise en place, table resetting and preparation before and during the service. • Ensure that all Company practices and procedures are met when delivering food from the kitchen to the Guest. • Ensure that all cleaning duties are completed in allocated times to the Company standards • Complete all opening and closing procedures. • Set up and maintain tables, stations and service areas according to hotel/ restaurant standards. • Be assertive and attentive at ALL times. • Have thorough knowledge of all product and service procedures. • When presenting the food or beverages to the guests, ensure to present the dishes according to the hotel/ restaurant standards.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required • One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor • Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
