Job Description
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating exceptional dining experiences, overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations and ensuring every service runs smoothly from start to finish.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a hospitality leader who enjoys being on the floor, connecting with guests and bringing out the best in their team. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to create a dining experience that feels seamless, genuine and memorable, while keeping a strong focus on people, performance and commercial results.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, creating seamless and memorable guest experiences.
- Be a hands-on leader on the floor, setting the tone for warm, confident and exceptional service.
- Lead, coach and develop the team, building a culture of teamwork, accountability and hospitality.
- Work closely with the Kitchen team and hotel leadership to deliver a smooth and consistent operation.
- Oversee rostering, staffing, service standards and daily operational planning.
- Build genuine relationships with guests and create experiences that keep them coming back.
- Take ownership of guest feedback and service recovery, turning challenges into positive experiences.
- Look for new ideas and opportunities to elevate the restaurant and improve the way we work.
- Support financial performance through effective management of labour, stock, costs and revenue.
- Ensure the restaurant operates safely and consistently with hotel, brand and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior F&B leadership role within a restaurant or hotel.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and great food experiences.
- A natural ability to lead, coach and bring out the best in your team.
- Strong operational and commercial understanding, with an eye for both guest experience and results.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with guests, colleagues and stakeholders.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved.
- The ability to stay calm, positive and solutions-focused during busy services.
