The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.


Job Description

As an Assistant Sales manager - Long stay and corporate, you will be responsible to maximize sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments.

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze market trends and develop tailored long-stay solutions for corporate clients, including negotiating competitive room rates and packages to enhance revenue streams and maintain market leadership.
  • Provide dedicated sales support to the Director of Sales and marketing, ensuring prompt and professional responses to corporate inquiries while fostering lasting client relationships within the long-stay segment.
  • Strategically target sales efforts towards achieving set targets within the long-stay and corporate sectors, adhering closely to hotel policies and regulations for sustained business success.
  • Prepare meticulous contracts customized for long-stay and corporate needs, reflecting current business conditions and ensuring transparent and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate actively within the Sales & Marketing Department to develop and implement targeted strategies aimed at maximizing sales opportunities within the long-stay and corporate market segments.
  • Cultivate and nurture existing corporate relationships while proactively seeking out new opportunities to drive long-stay occupancy and revenue growth for the hotel.
  • Conduct focused sales calls and presentations tailored specifically to long-stay and corporate clients, leveraging market insights and segmentation strategies to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Attend key meetings, represent the hotel at trade shows, and conduct thorough site inspections, all with a focus on aligning with the hotel's sales strategy and exceeding sales goals within the long-stay and corporate sectors.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in line with the position is an asset
  • Minimum 3 year experience in the Sales department is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
  • Business degree, or any relevant qualification, would be advantageous
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
  • Additional language skills is an asset (Arabic, Russian, French, Chinese…)

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
