Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Outlet Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to our customers' satisfaction.

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with established objectives and standards
  • Collaborate with the Outlet Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency
  • Motivate, train, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
  • Oversee food and beverage quality, regularly inspecting products and presentation
  • Implement and maintain training programs to enhance staff professionalism and product knowledge
  • Assist in scheduling employees to maintain service standards while adhering to budgeted labor costs
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure staff adherence to grooming standards
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering) to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment functionality
  • Assist in inventory management and cost control measures
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a guest database, recording preferences of regular patrons
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of marketing initiatives to drive restaurant traffic and revenue

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record in restaurant operations and customer service excellence
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control
  • Familiarity with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Strong business acumen with a customer-focused mindset
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 
•    Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
•    Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
•    Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
•    Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
