Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee day to day operations of the Finance department
  • Assist in the implementation and completion of special projects as assigned by the DOF/ADOF.
  • Manage and oversee income audit, payables, payroll, maintain internal audit control standards and cash handling functions,
  • Prepare and post month end journal entries, ensuring efficient completion of all month end functions
  • Responsible for month end financial statement compilation, expense analysis and review with department heads
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Administer hotel labor management system, including monthly balancing and  weekly review and discussion of department productivity
  • Maintain a system of accounts and controls, providing accurate data necessary for all required accounting reports
  • Assist in the completion of financial statements, management reports in accordance with company policies & procedures
  • Lead monthly credit meetings and oversee hotel's credit and collection function
  • Assist in the creation of the Annual Operating & Capital Budgets, Strategic Plan, and Monthly Operating Forecasts.
  • Support all operational departments of hotel to ensure financial policies and procedure are adhered to
  • Supervision of the Accounting Team, included Payroll Coordinator/General Cashier, Accounts Receivable Clerk, and Accounting Coordinator
  • Assist in overall hotel management responsibilities as needed
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all health and safety policies 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Salary Range: $85,000-$114,000 USD Gross Annually

Your skills and experience include:

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required
  • Service focused personality and passion for hospitality
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field required
  • Previous experience in a hotel finance department preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Proficient in the English language

Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
