Job Description

The People & Culture Agent supports the Human Resources function by helping create a positive employee experience, maintaining HR processes, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring that people-related policies and procedures are followed. The role acts as a key point of contact for employees and assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and workplace culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR and People & Culture operations.
  • Assist with recruitment, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring processes.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, leave, and company procedures.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
  • Assist with performance management and employee development programs.
  • Help organize training, workshops, and internal HR activities.
  • Support employee relations and escalate complex issues to HR management when necessary.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are communicated and consistently applied.
  • Prepare HR reports, employee data, and administrative documentation.
  • Assist with payroll-related information and attendance/leave records.
  • Support company culture initiatives and promote a positive, inclusive workplace.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or a similar role.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Experience using HRIS or HR management systems is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a multicultural or fast-paced environment is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Empathetic, approachable, and employee-focused.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good understanding of HR policies and employment practices.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
