40 Years of empowering our Heartists®
1985: Birth of Accor Academy
Launched in 1985 in France, it all started with a building where learners would spend the week and experience an immersive learning lab, complete with its own hotel and restaurant. This was the very first Corporate University of its kind in Europe.
1990: International Expansion
We went from « come to us in France » to « we come to you, wherever you are », powered by regional Academies : Europe and North Africa, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific, Americas, Greater China.
2000: Digital Evolution
Accelerated by the pandemic, Learn Your Way was launched in 2024 and serves as the Accor Academy global digital learning platform.
2026: Learning Portfolio Evolution
Our content library is continuously reinvented to support Accor’s global strategy. Today the training offering is brand-led, performance driven and ESG focused.
