We are looking for a Paymaster to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea.
Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently opening a magnificent project in the oasis that is The Red Sea. SLS The Red Sea is planned to open in 2025.
Introducing the newest gem of dazzling luxury to reach The Red Sea project: resort offers 150 luxurious keys, complemented by an impressive array of 7 distinct Food & Beverage outlets and a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to The Red Sea, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

- Prepare and deliver impeccably accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyses, and commentary that empower management to make bold, informed decisions.
- Oversee all daily cash handling operations across the hotel; receipts, floats, deposits, and reconciliation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage and secure the main hotel safe, ensuring cash is stored, distributed, and documented in full compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor and reconcile individual cashier floats across departments daily, promptly investigating discrepancies and ensuring corrective action.
- Coordinate and execute daily bank deposits—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and that all bank documentation is flawlessly maintained.
- Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready logs of all cash-related transactions, bank dealings, and transfer slips.
- Accurately prepare and process payroll for all hotel employees, ensuring salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions are correctly calculated and paid on schedule.
- Maintain and regularly update payroll systems and personnel files, ensuring 100% accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage and validate records of absences, sick leaves, vacations, and any other pay-impacting data with department heads and HR.
- Prepare detailed payroll reports for the Chief Accountant and management, including month-end summaries, cost breakdowns, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements keeping us on the right side of legislation at all times.
- Implement and uphold internal cash handling policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Work closely with the Finance team to support monthly closings, journal entries, reconciliations, and audits.
- Act as the point person for all bank-related queries and transactions related to cash and payroll.
- Liaise gracefully with department leaders, P&C, and the leadership team to ensure seamless coordination for payroll inputs and operational cash needs.
- Proven experience as a General Cashier, Paymaster, or Finance Officer within a luxury or lifestyle hotel (3+ years preferred).
- Expert-level knowledge of cash handling, banking procedures, and reconciliation practices in a high-volume environment.
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (such as Oasys, SAP, or Oracle), and financial systems like Sun Systems, FMC, or Adaco.
- Strong understanding of labor regulations, taxation, and statutory compliance within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- An eagle eye for detail, paired with the utmost discretion and integrity when managing sensitive payroll data.
- The ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure—without losing your cool (or your calculator).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you move seamlessly between departments, building trust and ensuring transparency.
