Company Description

As Leisure Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Director, Leisure Sales & Entertainment as well as be responsible for the direct sales efforts for the leisure and entertainment segments of the hotel.  You will further ensure department goals are met by providing administrative support to all facets of the leisure and entertainment sales process.

 What you will be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and communication
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Leisure & Entertainment, including preparing proposals, building contracts, maintaining filing systems, and coordinating schedules, travel, and meetings
  • Assist in coordinating and co-hosting FAM trips, site inspections, client events, sales calls, and educational visits
  • Act as a key support resource during sales missions or when the Director is away
  • Liaise with internal departments to plan and execute VIP entertainment riders and ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Ensure all Consortia reservations in the Property Management System are accurate, complete, and properly documented in the leisure database
  • Review daily arrival reports to ensure all amenities and special requests are arranged and communicated prior to guest arrival
  • Prepare quotes, establish parameters, and negotiate rates, confirming details through written contracts
  • Support the development and execution of business strategies to maximize revenue within the leisure and entertainment segments
  • Contribute to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
  • Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of Opera is preferred.
  • Able to provide clear and professional telephone communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities with ease.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior hospitality sales experience preferred
