Job Description
We are on the lookout for a passionate, forward-thinking General Manager to lead the Q3 2027 launch of our stunning dual-brand MÖVENPICK & Mercure combo hotel in Prague! Currently undergoing a major transformation, this 445-key destination (136 MÖVENPICK + 309 Mercure) is located in the trendy Smíchov (Anděl) district—bridging the airport and the city center. Featuring a destination Italian restaurant, bar, and premium MICE spaces, it is built to inspire both business and leisure travelers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To direct the successful integration and dual-brand management of a MÖVENPICK and Mercure combo hotel following its transition from a non-Accor branded hotel. Orchestrate the market reintroduction of both brands, drive market share growth through proactive business development and relationship management. Balance operational excellence under an HMA framework to deliver superior guest experiences, robust owner returns, and strict brand compliance. Champion Accor's collaborative culture by leading with empathy, driving employee engagement and mentoring a diverse, guest-centric team.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven success as a General Manager in premium hotels.
Operational Excellence: A robust operational background with a track record of driving high-quality service standards.
Commercial & Financial Acumen: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales strategies, revenue management, and financial optimization.
Stakeholder Management: Experienced in navigating Hotel Management Agreements (HMAs), with a proven ability to build trust and manage relationships with hotel owners and corporate partners.
Leadership & Culture: A self-motivated leader who thrives on autonomy, leads by example, and nurtures a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Communication & Relationships: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to foster positive, productive, and long-lasting relationships at all levels.
Resilience: Comfortable making critical decisions under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Languages: Fully fluent in English; knowledge of Czech and German are strong assets
