Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

As a Cluster Revenue Analyst you will directly report to Cluster Director of Revenue on property, you will be helping in implementing hotel pricing strategy by market segment with reference to booking patterns, market demand, maximizing an organization's financial performance, primarily focusing on right inventory management, and market data analysis. Translating complex data into actionable insights for Cluster DOR and collaborate with various departments like sales, marketing, reservation (optional- operations) to enhance the work. You will be responsible in ensuring available technology (Opera Cloud and RMS) is fully utilised and understood according to the property specific business mix and also measure the performance of all distribution channels to ensure fair market share is achieved. The role demands to be open-mind, eye for detail, an understanding of luxury hotels, Singapore market dynamics and proficient in excel, ready to learn and grow.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze revenue, sales, and market data to identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps, presenting findings in clear reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Pricing & Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement pricing strategies and manage inventory across channels (direct, online, etc.) to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors' strategies, pricing, and market conditions to identify opportunities and keep track of events in current market and maintain the demand calendar.
  • Distribution Maintenance- Monitoring the distribution health through Fornova and building continuous positive growth of health score resulting in direct revenue contribution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to align strategies and resolve issues like overselling or booking conflicts. Keeping close guard on Opera and overbooking limits. Checking creation report to analyse the revenue leak and error entries in Opera and highlight the department to correct the entries. Assist in preparing weekly revenue meeting deck, monthly projections and collate plus distribute the meetings minutes.
  • System Management: Maintain and utilize revenue management systems and tools (e.g., IDEAS, Tableau, BI, Excel). 
  • Forecasting: Build financial models to predict future revenue, informing budgets, sales targets, and resource allocation (eventually will be handled).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in luxury segment hotel revenue Singapore.  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury segment hotel reservation Singapore.

Additional Information

Your experience and skills include:

  • Strong understanding of Market segment, Channel mix, and Revenue tools
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with industry-specific software (e.g., Opera Cloud, Amadeus CRS, IDeaS G3, BI Tools, LightHouse, Fornova, Travelclick, Demand360, Accor (inhouse tools)
  • Strong quantitative skills to interpret large datasets and identify performance trends.
  • Ability to present complex data insights and coordinate with different departments
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Understanding of business ethics and professional decorum
  • Strong interpersonal skills
