As Website & Social Media Manager, you will actively manage the co-development, implementation and evaluation of all online marketing and social media activities together with two colleagues. One focus is on the strategic development of the structure and content management of the hotel and catering websites as well as the corresponding channels in the social networks. Organised work is just as important as creativity - and, in conjunction with the other communication channels, the ability to think in a networked way. We are looking for this exciting role: Website & Social Media Manager (m/f/d).

What does your working day look like …

  • Management of the digital marketing and communication channels (websites, blog, social media, etc.) of the hotel brands 25hours Hotels and SO/
  • Conception and development of websites and microsites
  • Technical support and optimisation of the websites (e.g. loading times, mobile responsiveness)
  • Creation & maintenance of content (content management) and regular updates
  • Implementation of SEO strategies for websites
  • Tracking and analysing website traffic & regular reporting
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting (bug fixing)
  • Optimisation of websites for conversion & upselling
  • Implementation of security measures and data protection regulations
  • Conception and implementation of cross-media campaigns in close cooperation with the team
  • Communication with external service providers in the area of website (& social media)
  • Monitoring, analysing and controlling social media activities, incl. community management
  • Coordination & quality control of the hotels' online and social media activities

Qualifications

Your personality counts more than your CV …

  • A degree in marketing, communication, online & social media or comparable qualification and at least 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of websites, SEO/SEM and CMS (preferably WordPress) as well as strong social media skills
  • Confident handling of Meta Business Manager as well as social media and analysis tools
  • Confidence in writing grammatically correct, stylistically confident texts in German and negotiation skills in English
  • Fun and interest in content creation, photography and image editing
