Waiter / Waitress

Our adventure camp in the Hatta mountains celebrates the land’s spirit, providing countless ways to play and explore the outdoors. Fifty caravans form a lively community inspired by nomadic exploration, surrounded by hiking and biking trails throughout mountainous terrain that immerse guests in the region’s natural beauty. A central restaurant fueled by local flavors is designed for guests to gather, and a wellness center offers restorative rituals drawing from local tradition. 

As a Waiter / Waitress at Caravan by Our Habitas Hatta, you will create warm, relaxed and memorable dining experiences that reflect the spirit of Our Habitas. More than simply delivering food and drinks, you’ll connect with guests, share the stories behind our menus and create an atmosphere where people feel genuinely welcomed.

Working closely with the wider Food & Beverage and Culinary teams, you will ensure smooth, attentive service while bringing personality, energy and authenticity to every interaction.

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally engaging, attentive and passionate about hospitality, with the confidence to deliver great service in a relaxed lifestyle environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create a relaxed, engaging dining experience from arrival through departure.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring individual preferences, allergies and dietary requirements are clearly communicated.

• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods and daily specials to confidently guide guests.

• Make thoughtful recommendations based on guest preferences and identify natural opportunities to upsell food, beverages and experiences.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests throughout the dining experience.

• Build genuine connections with guests through natural, personalised and attentive service.

• Prepare and maintain tables and service areas to ensure they are clean, organised and ready for guests.

• Coordinate closely with the Culinary, Bar and wider F&B teams to ensure smooth service flow and timing.

• Process guest bills and payments accurately in accordance with established procedures.

• Respond positively to guest feedback and resolve straightforward concerns, escalating where appropriate.

• Follow all food safety, hygiene and responsible service standards.

• Support restaurant opening, closing and side duties as required.

• Maintain a strong understanding of the wider Caravan experience, enabling you to answer guest questions and share recommendations.

• Bring the Our Habitas philosophy of connection, community and meaningful experiences to life through every guest interaction.

• F&B Experience: Previous experience as a Waiter / Waitress or in a similar guest-facing role within a hotel, resort, restaurant or lifestyle hospitality environment is preferred.

• Guest Experience: Naturally warm, attentive and engaging, with a genuine passion for connecting with people.

• Food & Beverage Knowledge: Good understanding of restaurant service and a willingness to continuously develop product knowledge.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage with guests from different cultures and backgrounds.

• Commercial Awareness: Comfortable recommending menu items and experiences in a natural, guest-focused way.

• Teamwork: Positive and collaborative, with the ability to work closely with Culinary, Bar and F&B colleagues during busy services.

• Attention to Detail: Organised and attentive, with a focus on accuracy, presentation and consistent service.

• Flexibility: Comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational requirements.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
