Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for VP, Revenue Management, Asia to join our team. This role will be based in Thailand and will be reporting directly to the SVP Topline & BI, MEA APAC. The VP, Revenue Management, Asia, plays an instrumental role in collaboration with the commercial and operational teams across the geographic region, aiming to fulfil strategic objectives. This position is tasked with fostering a culture focused on results, establishing a comprehensive framework for internal stakeholder accountability, and spearheading the execution of the region's revenue strategy. This involves leveraging technical systems for optimization, championing automation, and enhancing revenue management practices through the strategic use of data, insights, and communication. 

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Implementation for Performance Indicators: Develop and implement strategies to achieve key annual commercial metrics including RGI, Loyalty, channel mix, TARS contribution, RPS, and RevPAR. 

  • Lead as an example to your corporate and property Revenue Teams, striving for a high standard in Revenue Management execution. Be a leader of people, fostering talent development and professional growth. 

  • Drive RGI Growth: Focus on achieving Year-over-Year RGI growth, prioritizing ARI and MPI for annual target attainment. 

  • Stakeholder Accountability Framework: Establish a robust framework for stakeholder accountability that aligns with the strategic goals of the region. 

  • Owner engagement: act as an ambassador to Accor when interacting with owners, supporting them in their requests and explaining the function and ongoing initiatives to support topline performance. 

  • Focus on Priority Hotels: Identify and concentrate on priority hotels that are key to maximizing Accor’s top line and/or fee generation. 

  • Leverage Technology: Formulate strategies to support the automation of manual processes in revenue management processes through efficient system use. 

  • Cultivate a Change-Oriented Culture: Foster a culture that is receptive to change, positioning Revenue Management as a key economic influencer in the business. 

  • Revenue Manager Training Oversight: Ensure that Revenue Managers receive proper training and adhere to best practices in daily operations. 

  • Lead the Revenue Futures Program: Spearhead the Revenue Futures program to develop the next generation of Revenue Managers across the region. 

  • Collaborate on Market Forecasts: Work with the MEAPAC BI team to develop and deliver market forecasts for key sub-markets across MEA, utilizing these forecasts to enhance strategic top-line performance. 

  • Governance: take full ownership of the execution of RM principles in the territory assigned and collaborate with a positive spirt with your peers and the senior commercial leadership team. 


Qualifications

What we need from you 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Revenue Management. 

  • Current senior RM role with regional responsibilities. 

  • Track record of developing and implementing profitable strategies. 

  • Proficient in cultural alignment and change management withing the region. 

  • Skilled in Revenue Management techniques and strategies. 

  • Proven ability in timely project execution. 

  • Experience in training and promoting systems best practices. 

  • Executive leadership, ownership, and a spirit of conquest. 

  • Self-motivated with excellent team leadership capabilities. 

  • Strong decision making and presentation skills. 

  • Proficient in numerical analysis and possess the knowledge of Accor systems. 

  • Committed to Change Management. 

  • Strategic mindset, effective communication skills and ability to remain composed under pressure. 

  • Focus on training and development.
