US Regional Account Director for Fairmont Western Mountain Collection

Join the sales team for Fairmont's Canadian Western Mountain Region's sales team and represent five iconic resorts in Western Canada - Fairmont Banff Springs, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Rimrock Resort Hotel (an Accor hotel).

Reporting to the Director of Group Sales at Fairmont Chateau Whistler, this position can be home based in the US. The Regional Account Director will be responsible for leading sales initiatives within the Midwest US, to ensure sales goals at each property are exceeded.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 USD per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

Job Duties Include:

  • Exceed personal sales quotas (revenue and activities) on behalf of all hotels in the Mountain Region through working with all types of business and adapting your selling style accordingly
  • Driving guest room ADR, while confirming Food & Beverage and ancillary spend
  • Actively prospect new business and develop key accounts on behalf of the region
  • Conduct routine & timely calls on a specific set of accounts within the Midwest US market
  • Work closely with the global sales team to grow market share with key accounts
  • Participating in training, industry trade shows and sales trips/meetings, implementing and developing quarterly action plans
  • Collecting market & competitive intelligence to access and implement strategy and long-term goals

Qualifications

  • At least five year's experience as a Hospitality Sales Manager, with working knowledge of the Midwest US
  • Proven seller with a track record of reaching goals and acquiring new business
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours and days
  • Bachelors / Hotel Management degree an asset
