We are a contemporary style 4.5 star comfort hotel conveniently located in the very heart of Melbourne on fashionable Collins Street close to the Town Hall, Federation Square and retail and theatre districts. Featuring 380 guest rooms and suites, bar and restaurant, swimming pool and gym with 8 flexible conference & function venues feature state-of-the-art, conference technology. The ballroom accommodates events of up to 400 delegates in a theatre-style setup or 230 guests for banquets.
You will be responsible to provide guests with friendly and efficient service utilising the telephone system 4059 Alcatel Operator Console.
- Positively respond to all calls (both internal and external), redirect to rooms / departments as required.
- To have a full working knowledge of the switchboard
- To be able to communicate with guests, and team members both face to face and over the telephone
- To be able to advise guests on all international, credit card and reverse charge calls and any other operator assisted calls
- Assist Front Office with placing guest request through the system HUBOS
- Being able to answer guest inquiry about the services that we offer
- Pleasant telephone manner and well spoken
- Excellent Presentation and customer relationship skills
- Energetic and passionate to work
- Innovative approach to work
- Multi Tasking
- Knowledge of the Operator System 4059 Alcatel Operator Console, Opera PMS and HUBOS will be an advantage
