Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Swimming Lessons:

   • Plan and execute swimming lessons for individuals and group classes.
   • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different age groups and skill levels.
   • Focus on water safety and stroke development.

2. Guest Engagement:

   • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for guests during swimming lessons.
   • Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their swimming skills.
   • Address and resolve any concerns or inquiries from guests.

3. Safety and Supervision:

   • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and guidelines.
   • Conduct regular safety checks of the swimming pool area and equipment.
   • Maintain constant supervision during lessons and open swim sessions.

4. Lesson Planning:

   • Develop lesson plans that align with the curriculum and objectives set by the Recreation Manager.
   • Incorporate creative and engaging activities to make lessons enjoyable for participants.

5. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Inspect and maintain swimming pool equipment and teaching aids.
   • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Recreation Manager.

6. Administration:

   • Keep accurate records of participant progress and attendance.
   • Assist in scheduling and coordinating swimming lessons based on demand.

7. Promotion and Marketing:

   • Support the promotion of swimming lessons and recreational activities within the hotel.
   • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.

• Certified Swimming Instructor with a recognized accreditation (e.g., Red Cross, WSI).
• Previous experience as a Swimming Instructor in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of water safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
