Job Description

Are you a passionate foodie who is not afraid of thinking outside the box? Then we have the job for you! As Squire, Afternoon Tea and In Room Dining Manager, you will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level.

The Squire restaurant provides a relaxing environment to enjoy an extravagant buffet breakfast each morning.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team
  • Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained for your areas of responsibility
  • Strategize on new products and service offerings
  • Implement upsell incentives for the department
  • Create unforgettable experiences for our guests
  • Attend guest requests and anticipate needs
  • Manage staff recruitment
  • Attend to complaints
  • Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Adhere to and be trained in liquor laws and regulations
  • Responsible for keeping payroll in line
  • Responsible for forecasting and reviewing the P&L
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Your experience and skills include:

  • ​​​​Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
  • Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
  • Your team and working environment:

  • Working a fast paced team environment
  • Shifts will be during the day, evening and weekend
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining UK work authorization
