Job Description

SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide wellness services to the highest standard, ensuring guest safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and personal presentation in line with Raffles Spa’s five-star standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform a full range of professional treatments, including massages, body treatments, facials and wellness programs.
  • Conduct pre-treatment consultations, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring guest comfort and safety at all times.
  • Personalize each treatment based on guest preferences and wellness needs.
  • Suggest appropriate enhancements and retail products in a confident yet discreet manner to complement the guest’s wellness journey.
  • Prepare and reset treatment rooms before and after every service, ensuring they remain immaculate, fully stocked, and presented to five-star standards.
  • Follow strict hygiene and sterilization protocols for all equipment, tools, and linens.
  • Monitor product usage and assist in maintaining stock levels for professional and retail items.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Complete treatment records accurately and update guest profiles to ensure personalized service during future visits.
  • Attend training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and team meetings to stay updated on new techniques and spa standards.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Comply with all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure safe and correct use of equipment and professional products.
  • Maintain proper body mechanics to prevent injury and ensure treatment quality.

COLLEAGUE RELATIONS

  • Work closely and respectfully with all spa and hotel colleagues, supporting a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
  • Assist colleagues when required to ensure smooth daily operations and a calm spa environment.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Carry out other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Spa Manager.

 


Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Recognized certification or diploma in massage therapy, aesthetics, or holistic wellness.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury spa or five-star hotel.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and treatment contraindications.
  • Confident in recommending treatments and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
