Job Description

As a Spa Therapist at Fairmont Mumbai, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments and services that align with our commitment to wellness and longevity. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and attention to guests, ensuring that each treatment is tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Treatment Delivery:

  • Provide a range of therapeutic treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments, and wellness services, according to spa protocols and guest preferences.
  • Ensure that all treatments are delivered to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Tailor treatments based on individual guest needs, including assessing their health and wellness goals.

Guest Experience:

  • Create a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests from the moment they enter the spa until their departure.
  • Conduct pre-treatment consultations to understand guests' needs and preferences, and offer professional recommendations.
  • Address any guest concerns or feedback promptly and courteously to enhance their overall experience.

Wellness Focus:

  • Stay informed about the latest wellness trends, techniques, and products to ensure the spa’s offerings remain innovative and effective.
  • Integrate wellness and longevity practices into treatments to align with the spa’s philosophy and guest expectations.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, including the proper use and storage of spa equipment and products.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of treatment rooms and manage inventory of products and supplies.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in spa therapies and wellness practices.
  • Keep up to date with industry advancements and incorporate new techniques into your practice as appropriate.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other spa team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a cohesive guest experience.
  • Support and assist colleagues as needed, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in massage therapy, aesthetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Spa Therapist or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury spa or wellness environment.
  • Proficiency in a range of spa treatments and techniques, including massage, facials, body treatments, and wellness therapies.
  • Strong understanding of wellness and longevity principles, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
