Your purpose will be:

To support the Spa Manager in delivering an exceptional, world‑class spa experience within Fairmont’s new luxury spa facility. The Spa Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations, leads and motivates the spa team, upholds brand standards, and maintains a serene, professional environment for guests. The role blends hands‑on service excellence with operational oversight, ensuring every guest receives a personalised, memorable wellness experience.


Job Description

  • Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest receives a warm, personalised and luxury‑level experience.
  • Resolve guest queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain spa ambience, including cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere in all treatment and relaxation areas.
  • Support VIP and special‑request guests in line with Fairmont standards.
  • Supervise daily operations of therapists, receptionists, and spa attendants.
  • Lead pre‑shift briefings to communicate priorities, occupancy, and service expectations.
  • Coach and mentor team members to uphold service excellence and operational standards.
  • Support training and onboarding of new spa team members.
  • Oversee treatment scheduling to maximise therapist productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including COSHH and industry best practice.
  • Monitor stock levels of products, linens, and consumables, raising requisitions as needed.
  • Support spa opening and closing procedures, ensuring readiness and security.
  • Assist with retail sales performance and product recommendations.
  • Support revenue targets through upselling, package promotion, and efficient scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records, including treatment logs, therapist hours, and operational checklists.
  • Assist with reporting on KPIs such as occupancy, retail conversion, and guest feedback.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ spa experience and some supervisory exposure preferred within a luxury hospitality environment 
  • Deliver excellent guest service, resolve queries, and maintain a luxury spa environment
  • Supervise daily operations, support therapists and reception, and lead briefings
  • Manage schedules, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and oversee stock
  • Support retail sales, upselling, and basic KPI reporting
  • NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) required
