Your purpose will be:

To lead the Spa Front of House team in delivering a seamless, elevated guest journey aligned with the standards of the new 5‑star Fairmont Spa at Fairmont Cheshire The Mere. The role ensures every guest and member touchpoint meets brand expectations, departmental SOPs, and the highest levels of luxury service, safety and professionalism.


Job Description

  • Deliver a seamless, luxury guest journey aligned with Fairmont spa standards
  • Maintain a polished front‑of‑house presence and engage warmly with all guests
  • Ensure every guest is welcomed, cared for and invited to return
  • Review guest feedback daily and take action where needed
  • Oversee boutique sales, retail recommendations and guest upselling opportunities
  • Promote responsible use of spa materials such as towels, robes and slippers
  • Support management of casual labour hours
  • Maximise treatment diary availability and ensure efficient scheduling
  • Maintain a pristine, organised and luxury‑standard reception environment
  • Ensure all processes follow current SOPs and update/create SOPs when required
  • Communicate key information to the team promptly and clearly
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals and performance conversations
  • Support team morale through positive leadership and in‑house incentives
  • Ensure the reception desk remains welcoming, professional and guest‑focused
  • Collaborate with all departments 
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and maintain accurate documentation
  • Attend required meetings, briefings and training sessions
  • Carry out reasonable duties requested by management

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a spa, wellness or luxury hospitality front‑of‑house supervisory role (preferred)
  • Strong communication and guest‑service skills
  • Confident leadership abilities with experience guiding small teams
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency with booking systems, PMS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations
  • Ability to remain calm, polished and professional in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, products and wellness services (preferred)
