Job Description

The Spa & Wellness Manager will be in charge of opening of the hotel's wellness facility, and managing the operation and business sides of the facility

Key Responsibilities;

  • To provide strategic leadership and direct operations to ensure the spa department achieves its goals and effectively contributes to the guest experience whilst maintaining the Brand Standards.
  • Strategically direct the progress and performance of the business through sales and marketing and take ownership and responsibility in order to ensure maximum revenue.
  • Hire, train, and lead team members to be conversant in the business objectives.
  • Prepare department’s operational budget and forecast.
  • Develop spa and wellness programs for our guests.
  • Establish, direct and maintain the standards of Spa’s etiquette and service in all interactions with guests and employees.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all spa/wellness services, pricings, offerings, schedules, specials and other services provided.
  • Ensure consistent spa/wellness experience development to ensure that innovation and uniqueness is maintained.
  • Monitor and analyze the products and services of competitive spas, to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Review all guest feedback results to implement improvements and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Practice methods, which comply with health and hygiene guidelines and ensure cleanliness meets Standard Operating Procedures in all areas of the spa areas.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality / Wellness or similar field.
  • 5 years experience in similar role.’
  • Certificate in an alternative wellness practice i.e. homeopathy, naturopathy, TCM etc.
  • A creative and inventive manager who operates in a space where there is no box.
  • Experience with integrated wellness approaches / working models.
  • Sports and body/mind practice techniques.
