Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa and Recreation Manager to join our Swissotel Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of our spa and recreation facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

  • Manage daily operations of the spa and recreation facilities, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement innovative spa treatments, wellness programs, and recreational activities
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of spa therapists, fitness instructors, and recreation staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Create and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures
  • Analyze market trends and guest feedback to continuously improve services and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with other departments to create integrated guest experiences and cross-promotional opportunities
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in spa and recreation management, preferably in luxury hospitality settings
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to anticipate guest needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, therapies, and current wellness trends
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and revenue optimization
  • Relevant spa and wellness certifications (e.g., ISPA, CIDESCO) preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
