Job Description
The Skipper will be responsible for safely operating and navigating a small boat up to 10 meters in length. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and following safe routes according to weather and sea conditions.
- Ensuring the safety of passengers and crew at all times.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance of the boat and equipment.
- Managing boarding, docking, and anchoring procedures safely.
- Complying with all maritime regulations and safety standards.
The ideal candidate should have relevant boating experience, good knowledge of navigation, strong situational awareness, and the ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid boating/skipper license or certification for small vessels (up to 10 meters).
- Proven experience operating small boats safely.
- Good knowledge of navigation, weather, and safety regulations.
- Basic maintenance and mechanical knowledge of small vessels.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergencies.
