Job Description

Sells hotel guestrooms, catering services, banquet facilities, spa services and golf rounds through direct client contact with assigned market segments to meet or exceed established total company annual revenues and profit goals. This is a leadership position focused on client retention and new account Development

  • Establish a client base of accounts within assigned market segments through direct outside and inside sales activities for the purpose of securing business for the chain to ensure that predetermined annual sales expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that competitive information and market developments are communicated on a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to totally penetrate accounts to secure group, conference and transient business.
  • Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space and hotel services within approved booking guidelines.  Confirms in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract.
  • Conduct property site inspection tours of the chain’s facilities and services; entertains qualified potential clients in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately forecast personal bookings and cancellations against budgeted revenue.
  • Assists the Vice President of Sales & Marketing with implementation and achievement of the Annual Sales Action Plan.
  • Attends and represents company at planned industry events.
  • Responds promptly to client requests in a friendly, efficient manner.  Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Fulfills Manager on Duty shifts at least twice per annum.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • A minimum of four years work experience in sales field is preferred. 
  • Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit exemplary performance.

Salary range $76,939 to $85,488
