For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter Grand Ballroom.


Job Description

Senior Sales Manager

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and maintaining strong relationships with corporate and leisure clients in the luxury segment. This position requires a strategic approach to sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly within the luxury hotel sector.

Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed room, catering, and event revenue goals.
    - Identify new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and leisure markets.
    - Monitor market trends and competitive activity, providing insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and industry partners.
    - Regularly meet with clients to assess their needs and present customized solutions that align with the hotel's offerings.
    - Handle VIP clients and ensure personalized services are delivered.
  • Sales Leads & Business Development:
    - Generate new business through active lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
    - Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and negotiations to close deals successfully.
    - Ensure a smooth handover process to the operations team for confirmed bookings.
  • Revenue Management & Reporting:
    - Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing and room inventory based on demand.
    - Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis, tracking key metrics such as occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and REVPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
    - Provide feedback to the hotel’s senior management team regarding market trends, potential sales opportunities, and customer feedback.
  • Team Collaboration & Training:
    - Mentor and support junior sales staff, providing training on best practices and sales strategies.
    - Lead and participate in departmental meetings to ensure alignment with overall hotel objectives.
  • Event & Conference Sales:
    - Focus on generating sales for the hotel's event facilities, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
    - Conduct site inspections with clients to showcase the hotel’s venues and capabilities.
    - Ensure client expectations are met, and events are delivered with excellence.
  • Customer Feedback & Satisfaction:
    - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing post-event follow-ups and resolving any issues or concerns.
    - Use feedback to enhance the sales process and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a senior sales management position at a luxury or five-star hotel.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the Jakarta market and regional sales trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in luxury hospitality and the MICE industry.
