Job Description

Senior Accountant - Eastern Europe 

Location: Warsaw Office 

Are you ready to play a critical role in our finance team? As a Senior Accountant for Eastern Europe, you will support the Finance Manager in implementing best practices, standardizing processes, and ensuring compliance. Your role will be pivotal in managing financial operations and projects across Poland and the wider Eastern European region. 

What will you do? 

  • Taking part in reporting for Eastern Europe 

  • Manage intercompany accounts for Eastern Europe 

  • Check bank transfers. 

  • Supervise compliance. 

  • Coordinate bad debts provision. 

  • Reconcile balance sheets for Eastern Europe 

  • Oversee projects in Finance Department 

  • Standardize processes in Eastern Europe 

  • Supervise IFRS compliance in Eastern Europe 

  • Provide secondary control in reporting for Hungary and Romania 


Qualifications

Our ideal profile would be: 

  • Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting 

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting reporting 

  • Proficiency in English (C1 level) and Polish (native); Romanian or Hungarian is a plus 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting 

  • Strong internal and external communication skills 

  • Ability to perform and deliver under pressure 

  • Cultural adaptability 

  • Willingness to travel within Europe 

  • Goal-oriented with strong analytical skills
